Precautions for installation of door closer
1. When purchasing the door closer, the manufacturer will send the installation and use instructions of the door closer to the customer, so we must carefully read the installation instructions.
2. According to the requirements in the manufacturer's instructions and according to the installation template or installation drawing, some wooden doors have been opened before leaving the factory.
3. After installation, please check whether each fixing screw is fastened. Please note that each screw cannot be loosened.
4. Open the door to the maximum extent, and check whether the rotary arm at the hinge position of the door closer will collide with the door frame or have friction.
5. Generally, all door closers will adjust the opening force and speed to the normal state before leaving the factory. If you still need to adjust, please adjust it to the appropriate position as required
6. All speed regulating throttle valves shall not exit or be higher than the main body surface of the door closer, so as to prevent the valve from falling off under the action of pressure, which will cause the injection of hydraulic oil and damage the door closer.
7. For newly installed door closers, please tighten all the screws once within 7-10 days. This can be done by yourself. Of course, if conditions permit, professional technicians can be used for installation.
