According to the selected door closer model, find the screw to adjust the force of the door closer. Usually, tightening the valve screw will reduce the closing force of the door closer. If the size of the home decoration door is small, the door is relatively light, or the door is closed under the original setting, there will be a strong collision. Then it is necessary to tighten a little to reduce the closing force of the door closer.
On the contrary, if the door is heavy or cannot be closed well, it is necessary to loosen the valve screw and increase the strength of the door closer when closing. In the process of adjustment, the strength control needs to be tried several times, which can not be adjusted in place at once.
Adjusting screw after installation
When the newly installed door closer is used for about one week to 10 days, check all screws and retighten them. The hydraulic oil recommended by the manufacturer shall be used. For cold areas, the hydraulic oil with low freezing point shall be used.
The door closer shall be inspected regularly after it is put into use. The inspection contents are: whether the installation screws are loose and missing, whether the connecting arm collides with the door body or door frame, whether the door body is deformed and loose, the cushioning effect of closing the door, whether the supporting guide member leaks oil, etc.
Usually, the door closer has two speed regulating (throttling valve core) screws. The upper adjusting screw is the first section closing speed adjusting screw, and the lower adjusting screw is the second section (usually 10 °) closing speed adjusting screw.
